No card at booking, nothing taken in advance, and you settle in the car. Here is exactly how it works, which currencies we take and why we do it this way.
This is one of the most common questions we get before a booking, and the answer is simpler than most people expect.
You Pay at the End, in the Car
Nothing is taken when you book. No card details, no deposit, no pre-authorisation. You fill in the form, you get a confirmation, and you pay your driver at the end of the journey.
Cash or card, both work. The driver can take a card in the vehicle.
Which Currency
Prices are quoted in euros, and euros are the simplest thing to hand over.
We also accept US dollars and Turkish lira, converted at the rate on the day. If you are paying in lira it is worth checking the rate yourself beforehand so the figure is not a surprise — not because anyone is trying anything, but because the exchange rate moves and a number that looked right last week may not today.
If you have just landed and have no lira yet, do not go looking for an exchange office on our account. Euros or a card are easier.
Why Not Take Payment Upfront
Two reasons, and the second is the real one.
The obvious one: it is less friction. No card form, no bank verification screen, no worrying that a foreign transaction will be declined by your bank at exactly the wrong moment.
The one that matters more: a company that has your money already has less reason to turn up. Paying at the end means our interest and yours are pointed the same way for the whole journey. If the driver is not there, you have lost nothing.
That is also why a delayed flight costs you nothing, and why we do not charge for waiting. There is no meter running and nothing to argue about at the end, because the number was agreed before you flew.
What the Price Includes
The figure you agreed covers the vehicle, the driver, fuel, tolls, parking at the airport, waiting time and help with your luggage. Nothing is added afterwards for traffic, for the hour of day, or for a flight that came in late.
Child seats are the one extra, charged per seat and only if you ask for one.
The afternoon supplement on journeys to Sabiha Gokcen is the other thing worth naming: departures between 16:00 and 19:30 carry a surcharge because the drive takes two hours instead of an hour and a half. It is included in the price you are quoted at booking, never added at the end.
What About Tipping
Nothing is expected. The fare is complete. If you want the longer answer, we wrote one.
Cancelling
Free, any time before the transfer. Because nothing has been charged, cancelling is a message rather than a refund process.
The Short Version
Book without a card. Pay in the car, in cash or by card, in euros, dollars or lira. Nothing is added at the end. Cancel free if plans change.
We would rather earn the fare on the day than hold it in advance.
